Priesthood Ordinations scheduled for 2003
 

 

  

Mark your calendars for the two ordinations to the priesthood scheduled for 2003.  Two members of the Oblate House of Theology community in Chicago will present themselves for the Presbyteral Order during the month of June, one in Chicago and one in San Antonio.

Brothers Walter Butor, OMI, and Jonathan Closner, OMI, will complete their studies at Catholic Theological Union shortly before their ordination to the priesthood.

 Both of them will be ordained to the Order of Deacon on September 6, 2002, in White Earth, MN, by Bishop Victor Balke of Crookston, MN.

 

    

 

 

Bishop Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI, of San Angelo, TX, has agreed to ordain Deacon Closner to the Order of Priesthood on June 14, 2003, at St. Cecilia’s Parish, San Antonio, TX.

 

 

 His Eminence, Francis Cardinal George, OMI, is scheduled to ordain Deacon Butor to the Order of Priesthood on June 28, 2003, at St. Benedict the African Parish in Chicago.
