PARISH IN MADISON, FLORIDA, DEDICATES NEW HALL
     
  St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Madison, FL, reached an important milestone on December 8, 2002, when Pensacola-Tallahassee Bishop John Ricard, SSJ, blessed the parish's new hall.

Current Oblate pastor, Fr. Ernest Sylvestre, OMI, states that the new building is the result of the hard work of the parishioners and a sizeable gift from the Catholic Extension Society. 

Fr. Ernie actually serves two parishes, each with about 110 families, 30 miles apart.  St. Vincent de Paul is in Madison.  St. Margaret's is in Monticello.
