Immense Hope Project Moves Forward

In response to the call by the General Chapter's and General Administration's call to  “an ever-inventive missionary zeal” , Oblates  in the U.S. Province have been gathering to look at what the future challenges and changes are in their specific ministries.  This is the fifth step of the Immense Hope, USA  renewal process. 

In May Oblates met in Belleville, Illinois to to pray and reflect about the English-speaking parish ministry.   A week later, this was done in San Antonio, Texas by those in the Oblate education ministry as well as those working in the Hispanic parish ministry . 

Each group put together a small statement with recommendations to be brought to the October Convocation in Nashville.  Those involved in the Native American, African American, and  Oblate formation ministries have already met  in a similar discussions.
