Buffalo Pre-Novice Graduates and Heads for the Novitiate

 
     
 

 

Ben Roberts, an Oblate Pre-Novice from Bishop Fallon Community in Buffalo, NY, received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (Summa Cum Laude) from D’Youville College on May 22, 2004.  The college, named in honor of St. Marguerite D’Youville, granted Bachelors and Masters degrees to more than 500 students in health sciences, education and the liberal arts.

 

Ben is a convert to Catholicism from North Carolina and has been a member of the Bishop Fallon Community, under the direction of Fr. George Kirwin, OMI, since 2002.  He will enter the Oblate Novitiate in Godfrey, IL in August after working at St. William’s parish in Tewksbury, MA, this summer.
