On Saturday, September 4, 2004, scholastic Brother Karl Davis, OMI, pronounced his final vows as a Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate.  The ceremony took place at the Oblate School of Theology chapel in San Antonio, TX.  Oblate Vicar Provincial, Fr. Charles Banks, OMI, received Karl's vows in the name of the Superior General.  The congregation included several Oblates from the San Antonio and south Texas areas, as well as Karl's mother and other family members and friends.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, Karl returns to his final year of studies at the Oblate School of Theology this fall, working toward a Master of Divinity degree.  He just completed his year of pastoral internship in the US Province's missions in Zambia.  Karl is a member of the George Sexton House of Studies community in San Antonio.  His scheduled date of ordination to the priesthood is August 13, 2005.
