On September 4, 2004, the Oblate delegation in Zambia celebrated the priestly ordination of two of its members.  Fathers Singini Nacidze and Vincent Sakala received the grace of ordination in a festive celebration that included elements of their African cultures.

Both of the newly ordained priests spent several years in the United States completing their theological studies.  Fr. Vincent completed his Master of Divinity degree at Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio in December 2003.  Fr. Singini earned a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Theology at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago in June 2004.
