One of the well-known theologians specializing n Marian studies in the United States is a member of the United States Province, Fr. George Kirwin, OMI.  He is also the director of the Oblates’ pre-novitiate program at Fallon Residence in Buffalo, NY.

On the weekend of May 1st, Fr. Kirwin preached a retreat at the Oblate Retreat House in Mississauga, Ontario to a group of over 30 participants.  The theme of the retreat was “Mary and the Mystery of the Covenant.”

Later in the month of May, he will give a presentation at the annual gathering of the Mariological Society in Maine entitled: “The Assumption of Mary and Queenship in Complementarity”
