ASSOCIADOS IN TIJUANA SHARE

OBLATE VALUES

“Come and see!” Jesus said to those who wanted to know more about him.

And that is what the Oblates in Baja California tell young men who want to know more about missionary life and vocation.  Every two weeks young  people gather with local Oblates and the pre-novices in Tijuana for  simple prayer,  a sharing about some part of the Oblate missionary life  and vocation.  Not the least important of the time gathering is the meal  they all enjoy together!  The group , called the Associados is made up of about 15 youth 15 years of age and above. Most are from  the chapels of the surrounding area, generally referred to as La Morita , served by the Oblates for the past 13 years.
