Video: “Missionary Memories”

The recent passing of Fr. George Protopapas, OMI brought to mind this video in which he was prominently featured.

This 30-minute video is made up of three segments featuring senior Oblates reflecting on the topics: “Availability,” “Mission,” and “Community” as they relate to the life of a Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate. The programs were originally produced for showing at the 2008 U.S. Oblate Province Convocation.

Since 2008, several of the featured Oblates have passed on though happily, several of them are still with us. The words of these devoted missionaries still resonate with the Charism of St. Eugene and provide continuing inspiration for Oblates, Oblate Associates, and all who know and love them.
