This is the first in a planned series of periodic “Updates” for Oblates and all those interested in the Oblate charism and ministries by Fr. Louis Studer, U.S. Oblate Provincial. The purpose is to bring all interested parties “into the loop” regarding the work Oblates and their various partners in ministry are doing to bring people closer to God.
In this 13 minute video, Fr. Studer outlines plans for the upcoming months regarding animation, and communication strategies for the Province, interactions between Oblates and their various constituencies, Oblate Associates, the Oblate Partnership, employees, parish congregations, volunteers and more. He describes a conference on the environment he recently attended at St. Paul University in Ottowa, that was co-sponsored by OMIUSA JPIC. Plans to visit Oblate communities around the country are included along with some exciting news about new outreach by the men in the Tijuana mission.
